BECAUSE JESUS LIVES MINISTRIES

DOCTRINAL STATEMENT

A. The Holy Bible, the Word of God; in its divine, verbal, complete inspiration, its inerrancy and infallibility in the original manuscripts; and its supreme and final authority in faith and life (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21).

B. One God eternally existing in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 3:14).

C. The Lord Jesus Christ:

* His virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:26-35)
* His sinless life  (Hebrews 7:26; 1 Peter 2:22)
* His miracles  (Acts 2:22; Acts 10:38)
* His substitutionary work on the cross. (Romans 9:16; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4)
* His bodily resurrection from the dead. (Matthew 28:6; Luke 24:39; John 14:21-23;

1. Corinthians 15:4-8; 1 Corinthians 15:14-20)

* His exaltation to the right hand of God. (Acts 1:9-11; Acts 2:33; Philippians 2:9-11; Hebrews 1:3)

* His personal and literal bodily return again to the earth in power and glory for His Church. (Matthew 24:27-30; 1 Thessalonians. 4:13-16)

D. The Holy Spirit, who shows the redeeming purpose of God to the world by convicting the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment (John 16:7-11), and by regenerating (Titus 3:5), uniting to Christ (1 Corinthians 12:13), indwelling (Ephesians 1:13, 5:18), sanctifying (Galatians 5:16; 1 Corinthians 6:11), illuminating (John 16:13), and empowering for service (1 Corinthians 12:4-11), all who place complete faith in the Lord Jesus Christ (Galatians 5:5).

E. The total depravity of man because of the Fall (Genesis 3:10-24; Romans 6:23).

F. Salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ apart from works (Ephesians 2:8).

G. The eternal Joy of the saved and the eternal suffering of the lost (Daniel 12:2; Luke 16:24-26; John 5:28-29; Revelation 20:14-15).

H. The real spiritual unity in Christ of all redeemed by His precious Blood (1 Corinthians 12:13; Ephesians 1:4-6, 4:11-15, 5:25-26).

I. The necessity of maintaining the purity of the Church in doctrine and life according to the Word of God (1Corinthians 6:19-20; 1 Thessalonians 4:3).
